In 2006 the Trust launched the Art in the Park project which has been successful to date achieving the following objectives:

• To enhance and contribute to the revival of Nairobi’s Central business district as a venue of arts and entertainment
• To promote talent among Kenyan public both in  visual and audio arts
• To provide a venue and opportunities for underprivileged, needy and upcoming artists to showcase and develop their careers through creating   awareness.
• To create a learning environment for children to develop their artistic skills based on topics of peace-building.
• To provide a venue for monthly cultural events.

Annually, the Memorial Park hosts a Christmas concert that has become the city’s family event. Please plan to attend it this year.
